These paintings are created using large brushes and palette knives. The intention is to create a painting that feels fresh and more loose in style, with a lot of texture.
I primarily paint very detailed paintings with thin layers of paint, so this style of painting creates an opportunity to loosen up a bit, experiment and be daring on the canvas.
