A Pika and a Bumblebee II
I am so happy you are here!
Hi, I'm James Corwin. I love what I do—and most of all, I love sharing my art with you. I create art to draw you in, so you can share a moment with the story unfolding inside the painting—to feel something. Has my art moved you in some way?
After years of sourcing the highest-quality prints, I am very proud of what I have built here in Montana. Only the best. I believe in the quality of my artwork, and I know you will love it too!
Thank you for choosing my art for your space. It means so much to me.
A customer walked into the studio earlier this week and purchased a print of A Pika and a Bumblebee. She had been eye-ing it through the window for some time and fell in love with it every time she walked past.
She was so excited to finally bring the painting home and seeing her joy was a reminder of why I create art.
Prior to this moment I was in creative fatigue, not having a good idea of what to paint next. It had me feeling down...
Lit up, I thanked her for her joy, because it made me excited to create a new version of the little pika and bumblebee. I immediately got to work planning...
This painting was quickly born from passion and joy. I am in love with this little piece and it came from someone loving the original idea.
Sure, the piece has a little gloomy, rainy look, but that is just the artist translating their feelings through their work. Isn't that what art is? The balance is in the flowers, the lichen and the inhabitants.
