James Corwin would like to offer a 3-Day oil painting workshop at my studio in Missoula in May!
I am gathering general interest.
Class size is limited to 12 in order to provide a
personal and instructional experience.
The workshop will include:
- Detailed instruction in oil painting with specific attention given to:
- Painting wildlife and landscape
- Brushwork and detail techniques.
- The creation of composition
- Drawing anatomy accurately
- Color mixing and values
- Art business lectures on starting, building and growing your art.
- Personal one on one help with James.
- 16 hours of class.
Schedule:
Friday, May 15 - 4pm - 7pm (3hrs)
Saturday, May 16 - 9am - 5pm (8hrs)
Sunday, May 17 - 10am - 3pm (5hrs)
Cost: $450
Attendees are encouraged to bring wildlife ideas/photographs of their own to create from.
Your own supplies are required. A list of supplies will be provided weeks prior to class so that you can be prepared. We will only be using oil paints.
Prior painting experience is NOT a requirement. I accept all skill levels!
