This is an oil painting I completed in South Africa. It, along with 6 other paintings were donated to anti-poaching to raise money for new equipment.
The anti-poaching unit and I thought the name Khaleesi was fitting for this white rhino… she is beautiful and reigned supreme, named after the Khaleesi in Game of Thrones. I had the privilege of feeding her almost every day. She dominated the bulls and fought them for food and chased me away several times.
