Another painting inspired by my safari travel to Kenya. I was so excited to see flamingos in the wild! I am used to seeing the plastic pink ones in people's yards...
They make wonderful sounds and were beautiful to watch in the shallows with their pink reflections cast over the still water.
Lake Nakuru is famous for its "flamboyance" of flamingos.
